Lighthouse Academy to be major sponsor for NEIGHBORFEST 2011

On Sunday, September 11th, 2011, New Life Outreach International of Fredericksburg , a local church dedicated to a scripture driven reality, will present yet again NEIGHBORFEST 2011.  This year the event will be held at Spotsylvania Courthouse Village, the corner of Brock Road and Courthouse Road.  As always the event is absolutely FREE.  The theme of the event is “Who is my Neighbor?”  The goal is to highlight the Gospel of Jesus Christ as well as the 10th Anniversay of 9/11.  We are pleased to highlight the Armed Forces of the United States of America, with all branches represented on site as well as all of our local emergency responders and our community of families, including all those that are struggling to keep food on the table.  This is why the event is FREE.  New Life Outreach International of Fredericksburg fully embodies the idea that since Jesus died for us at no cost, we must present Jesus at no cost…no matter what.  All are invited, all are welcome and all will be fed, blessed and will leave with wonderful memories and possibly winning a Grand Prize.

The event will begin with a Church Service at 10:00am (all are welcome) and then all rides, food, games and music will begin at 11:00am and end with the grande finale starting at 6:00pm.  The Lighthouse Academy of Fredericksburg will be donating most of the rides, games, inflatables and choo choo train ride for kids.  The Academy will also be offering FREE balloons and face painting all day long.  The bus will be onsite in order to create a fun backdrop for the face painting.

There will be FREE hotdogs, drinks, snacks, cotton candy, sno-cones, rides, games, prizes and of course live music all day long.  This year the concert line-up will be headlined by Full Armor with special guests such as  Matthew WardPaul Clark  and Keith Armstead.  There will be at least 25 bikes to give-away, luxury items, limo-driven dinner for 2 and much, much, more!  Last year the crowd swelled to over 8,000 and this year is expected to be even larger.

Also, in addition to all of the above amazing event treats, the local emergency reponders have agreed to not only be onsite but they are so excited about the event that they have agreed to bring the following equipment;  Fire Trucks (2 ladder trucks that will be holding a huge American Flag), police cars and police motorcycles, a S.W.A.T. Team van, a police Command Unit (RV), Ambulances, Emergency Boat Trailer, a heavy Emergency Squad vehicle, and a Search and Rescue Trailer.  During the event there will also be a live police canine demonstration put on by the Spotsylvania Sheriffs Department and a huge live animal display area sponsored by the Spotsylvania Animal Control Department.
